Terms and Conditions
Effective September 13, 2026. Last updated September 13, 2026. Governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") are an agreement between Palm Home Pros ("Palm Home Pros," "we," "us" or "our") and you. Part A covers your use of https://thepalmhomepros.com (the "Site"). Part B covers the services we perform (the "Work"). By using the Site, requesting a quote, approving a quote, or letting us start Work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or hire us.
Part A. Using the Site
1. What the Site is for
The Site describes our services and lets you ask for a quote. Its content is general information about home upkeep in Palm Beach County. It is not advice for your specific property, and nothing on it is a binding offer or price. Blog articles may cite third-party cost ranges with their source; those are not our prices.
2. Quote requests through the Site
When you send the quote form you confirm that the details are accurate, that you are at least 18, and that you are the owner of the property or authorized by the owner to request work on it. Sending the form does not book a visit. You agree that we may contact you by call, text or email about your request as described in our Privacy Policy, which also covers the cookies, analytics, advertising and call tracking tools the Site uses.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Site for anything unlawful, or to send spam, malware or false requests
- Do not scrape, copy or republish the Site, or interfere with how it runs
- Do not submit another person's details without their permission
4. Our content
The text, photographs, wordmark and design of the Site belong to Palm Home Pros or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use in deciding whether to hire us. Any other use needs our written permission. Links to other websites are for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.
Part B. Our services
5. What we do and do not do
Palm Home Pros provides handyman, painting, and lock services. We are not a licensed general contractor and do not perform licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, or structural work. Insured for the services we perform.
We stay inside that scope. If a job turns out to need a licensed trade, we stop, tell you, and where we can refer you to someone licensed for it. Whether to hire them is your decision and your contract with them.
6. Quotes
Every job is quoted in writing before it starts. A quote is based on the description, photos and measurements you give us, or on what we saw during a visit. It is itemized so you can drop any line you would rather skip. A quote is valid for the period stated on it, and the price holds unless the Work itself changes (section 8). Accepting a quote, by signature, email, text, or by letting us start, forms the contract for that job under these Terms. If a quote and these Terms disagree, the quote wins for that job.
7. Scheduling, access and cancellation
We book an arrival window, not a whole day, and we tell you if we are running outside it. You agree to give us safe access to the work area at the agreed time, to clear furniture and belongings that could be damaged, to secure pets, and to arrange any gate pass, elevator reservation or building approval the property requires. You also agree to tell us in advance about anything hidden that could affect the Work, such as wiring, pipes or asbestos-era materials you know about.
To cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you can. A visit we cannot perform because we could not get in, or a cancellation with very short notice, may be charged the trip or cancellation amount stated on your quote. We may reschedule for weather, a safety concern, or an emergency on another job, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
8. Changes to the Work
If you want something added, or we find that the job is different from what was quoted, we stop and confirm the change and its price with you before doing it. A change is agreed when you approve it in writing, which includes an email or a text from the number on your quote. We do not add unapproved lines to an invoice, and we are not obliged to perform extra work that has not been approved.
9. Materials
We can supply materials, itemized on your quote, or work with materials you buy. If you supply them, we are not responsible for their quality, fit or defects, and a return visit caused by unsuitable customer-supplied materials is chargeable. Unused materials we supplied stay ours unless the quote says otherwise; unused materials you supplied stay yours. Paint colors are matched as closely as the product allows and existing surfaces affect the finish.
10. Lock and key work
Before we rekey, open, or change a lock we may ask for photo identification and proof that you own or lawfully occupy the property, or written authorization from someone who does. We may decline any lock job where that cannot be shown. We are not responsible for lost keys or codes after the job is complete, and we recommend you record new codes somewhere safe.
11. Payment
Payment is due as stated on your quote or invoice, by the methods listed there. Any deposit, milestone or final payment terms are the ones on the quote. If a balance is not paid when due we may pause further Work, and we may charge the late amount and collection costs stated on the quote or allowed by Florida law. You may withhold only the value of a specific, identified item that is incomplete or not as quoted, and only while we are putting it right.
12. Our workmanship
We do the Work in a careful, professional manner consistent with the quote. If something we did is not right, tell us promptly and we will come back and put it right at no charge. Any specific workmanship guarantee, and its length, is the one stated on your quote. This promise covers our labor. Manufacturer warranties cover the products, and it does not cover normal wear, misuse, later changes by others, settlement or movement of the building, moisture or pests, or conditions that existed before we arrived.
13. Limits on our responsibility
We carry insurance for the services we perform, and a certificate is available on request. To the fullest extent Florida law allows: our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job; we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses such as lost rental income, lost time, or damage to contents that were not moved or protected after we asked; and we are not liable for pre-existing or hidden conditions we could not reasonably see, including wiring, pipes, moisture, rot, pests or prior repairs, or for damage that results from them when the Work is performed with reasonable care. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
14. Photos and reviews
We may photograph the work area before, during and after a job for our records and insurance. We use before-and-after photos in our marketing only with your permission, and never with your address, name or anything that identifies your home. Any review you leave is your own words and can be posted publicly by the review platform.
15. Ending a job
You may cancel a job before it starts as described in section 7. Either of us may end a job that has started if the other materially breaks these Terms and does not fix it within a reasonable time after written notice. If a job ends early you pay for the Work completed and materials ordered up to that point, less any deposit already paid.
16. Resolving disagreements
Talk to us first. Most problems are fixed with a phone call and a return visit. If we cannot settle something between us, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any claim must be brought in the state courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, or in small claims court where the amount allows. Each party waives any objection to that venue.
17. General
These Terms and your accepted quote are the whole agreement for a job. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term once does not waive it later. You may not assign a job to someone else without our written consent. We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new date; the version in force when you accepted your quote is the one that applies to that job.
